Sweet and savory Asian-inspired meatballs made healthier in the air fryer. Tender and juicy meatballs are served with a sesame and ginger slaw. These meatballs make a great appetizer or complete meal.

In a large mixing bowl, combine bread crumbs, milk, 1-tablespoon ginger, garlic, 2-tablespoons brown sugar, salt, pepper and 2-teaspoons soy sauce. Sit 5 minutes to allow bread crumbs to soak in liquids. Add beef and scallion whites; mix to combine all ingredients. Portion beef into 12 balls about the size of a golf ball; refrigerate 10 minutes.
Preheat air fryer to 350° F. In a medium mixing bowl, make the sesame dressing by combining remaining 1-teaspoon ginger, 2-tablespoons brown sugar, and 1-tablespoon soy sauce, rice vinegar and sesame oil; whisk to combine, set aside.
Arrange meatballs in air fryer basket, so they aren t touching each other. Air fry 12 minutes or until reaching an internal temperature of 155° F.
While meatballs bake, combine slaw mix and scallion greens with sesame dressing.
Serve meatballs with sesame slaw.
